Technology Inside Sales Representative

To support our tremendous growth, Compact Solutions is seeking an Inside Sales Representative with enterprise software sales exposure. You will be driving presales activities for Compact’s complete offering of cutting edge products including MetaDex, TestDrive, Big Data Governance solutions, and more! The role requires general experience and knowledge of software solutions specifically in data management technology space. This role has the potential to transition to an Account Executive Role, managing named set of accounts.

Role and responsibilities:

  • Capable of quickly learning new software products and clearly communicate the value proposition
  • Grow customer share and pipeline within assigned customer accounts
  • Utilize telephone communication as the primary means of contacting customers, articulating solutions and developing sales opportunities
  • Consistently build and deliver an accurate pipeline via Microsoft Dynamics CRM system
  • Able to communicate with key decision makers, influencers and partners within identified geography
  • Assist Compact Sales Leadership in Trade Shows, Conferences and Social Media Marketing

Required skills and experience:

  • 1+ years of successful pre-sales experience with focus on enterprise technology and solutions
  • We will consider fresh graduates from reputable universities
  • Consistent record of increasing revenue through new customer acquisition
  • Successful track record pre-sale activities promoting enterprise solutions
  • Successfully sell the business value vs. product
  • Ability to clearly articulate your point of view in professional manner
  • Possess entrepreneurial spirit or worked in a fluid (start- up) environment
  • Experience working with a team of professionals in sales campaigns that include field AEs, SE’s, Marketing, Services, etc.
  • Bachelor’s/Master Degree in Computer Science or Business required
  • Pre-Selling one or more of the following products a plus but not required: Middleware, Analytics, Data Warehouse, Business Intelligence and or Hadoop “Big Data”
  • Self-motivated, great teammate and able to take ownership on the assigned task(s)
